Airline Pilot responsibilities include:

1. Execute pre-flight planning including weather analysis, fuel calculations, and flight route optimization 2. Operate aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures 3. Perform comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft systems 4. Manage cockpit resource allocation and crew coordination during all phases of flight 5. Make critical decisions regarding flight safety, diversions, and emergency procedures 6. Maintain precise communication with air traffic control and airline operations centers 7. Complete accurate flight documentation and operational reports 8. Mentor and evaluate first officers through structured training and feedback

Must-Have Requirements

1. FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate type ratings 2. First-Class FAA Medical Certificate 3. Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time with 500 hours cross-country experience 4. 250 hours pilot-in-command time in turbine-powered aircraft 5. Clean FAA safety record with no violations or suspensions 6. Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field 7. Proven instrument flight rules (IFR) and multi-engine experience 8. FCC radio telephone operator permit

Preferred Qualifications

1. Type rating in Boeing 737, Airbus A320, or similar commercial aircraft 2. 3,000+ total flight hours with 1,000+ hours in turbine aircraft 3. Previous Part 121 airline operating experience 4. International flight experience with ETOPS certification 5. Aviation safety management system (SMS) training 6. Experience with advanced avionics and glass cockpit systems 7. Leadership experience as check airman or training captain 8. Bachelor's degree from an accredited aviation university program
