Sales Training Specialist responsibilities include:
1. Design and develop sales training curricula, materials, and modules tailored to various sales roles and experience levels.
2. Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions through workshops, virtual classrooms, and on-the-job coaching.
3. Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and performance gaps across the sales organization.
4. Implement and manage a sales onboarding program to accelerate ramp-up time for new hires.
5. Utilize sales performance data and feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
6. Develop and maintain certification programs to ensure consistent application of sales methodologies.
7. Coordinate with product marketing to ensure training materials reflect current product features and market positioning.
8. Track and report on training effectiveness using metrics such as sales performance improvements and participant feedback.
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Communications, or related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or corporate training within a sales organization.
3. Proven experience designing and delivering sales training programs using various methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger Sale, Solution Selling).
4. Strong understanding of sales processes, cycles, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
5. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences.
6. Demonstrated ability to measure training effectiveness and ROI through performance metrics.
7. Experience creating training materials using authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, or similar).
