Sales Analyst responsibilities include:
1. Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue enhancement
2. Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports using CRM and BI tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau)
3. Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform pricing and sales strategies
4. Collaborate with sales leadership to forecast sales targets and track performance against goals
5. Identify customer segmentation opportunities and sales funnel optimization strategies
6. Prepare executive-level presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
2. 2+ years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, or similar analytical role
3. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and data visualization tools
4. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
5. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex sales data and metrics
6. Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
