Merchandiser responsibilities include:

1. Develop and execute seasonal merchandising strategies and product assortment plans 2. Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to optimize product performance 3. Collaborate with buying teams to select products that meet customer demand and brand standards 4. Plan and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and markdowns to maximize profitability 5. Monitor inventory flow and manage stock levels to prevent overstock and out-of-stock situations 6. Create visual merchandising guidelines and planogram recommendations for store displays 7. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities 8. Work closely with marketing teams to develop product launch strategies and promotional materials 9. Present merchandising plans and performance reports to senior management

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field 2. 3+ years of merchandising experience in retail environment 3. Proven analytical skills with experience in sales data analysis and inventory management 4. Proficiency in merchandising software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) 5. Strong understanding of retail math and financial metrics (GMROI, sell-through, margin) 6. Excellent communication and presentation skills 7. Preferred Qualifications
