1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field
2. 7+ years of progressive experience in nonprofit development/fundraising
3. Proven track record of securing major gifts ($25,000+)
4. Experience managing and closing six-figure fundraising campaigns
5. Demonstrated success in grant writing and foundation relations
6. Strong knowledge of fundraising software (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or similar)
7. Excellent donor cultivation and relationship management skills
8. Budget management and financial analysis experience
9. Team leadership and staff development capabilities
10. Knowledge of IRS regulations and fundraising compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field
2. CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification
3. Experience in capital campaigns exceeding $5 million
4. Background in both nonprofit and corporate fundraising environments
5. Established network of donor contacts in relevant geographic region
6. Experience with planned giving and endowment fundraising
