Warehouse Clerk responsibilities include:
1. Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy against purchase orders
2. Process and verify all outbound shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS)
3. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates
4. Organize and store inventory in designated locations using proper labeling and FIFO methods
5. Prepare orders for shipment including picking, packing, and labeling according to customer requirements
6. Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified)
7. Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
8. Assist in monthly and quarterly physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent
2. Minimum 6 months warehouse or logistics experience
3. Basic computer skills including email and data entry
4. Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
6. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
7. Basic math skills for counting and inventory management
8. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
Preferred Qualifications
1. 2+ years experience in warehouse operations or distribution center
2. Experience with WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
3. RF scanner and barcode system proficiency
4. Experience with shipping carriers including FedEx, UPS, and USPS systems
5. Inventory control or quality assurance experience
6. Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) in regions with diverse workforce
7. Experience with both receiving and shipping operations
8. Knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety regulations and compliance requirements
