Job Overview

The Quality Manager will lead our quality assurance and control initiatives, ensuring all products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires developing and implementing quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organization.

Quality Manager responsibilities include:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) 2. Establish and monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators 3. Lead internal and external audit processes including ISO compliance 4. Manage root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action programs 5. Oversee supplier quality management and qualification processes 6. Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements 7. Lead cross-functional quality improvement teams and initiatives 8. Develop and deliver quality training programs for staff 9. Manage quality documentation and record-keeping systems 10. Interface with customers on quality issues and requirements

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field 2. 5+ years of quality management experience in manufacturing or production environment 3. Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent certification 4. Proven experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards 5. Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools 6. Experience leading audit processes and regulatory inspections 7. Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills 8. Proficient in quality management software and MS Office Suite 9. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing QMS 10. Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Quality Management or Business Administration 2. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification 3. Experience in automotive, aerospace, or medical device manufacturing 4. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies 5. Experience with FDA 21 CFR Part 820 or ISO 13485 standards 6. Previous experience in supplier quality development programs 7. Proficiency in Minitab or other statistical analysis software 8. Experience with ERP systems integration for quality processes 9. Background in implementing automated quality control systems 10. Multi-site quality management experience
