4. Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and initiate corrective action requests
5. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues in real-time
6. Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment according to schedule
7. Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives
8. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
1. High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of quality inspection experience
2. Proficiency using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM)
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Strong understanding of basic statistical process control (SPC) principles
5. Experience with quality documentation and non-conformance reporting
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and documentation
7. Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
8. Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
Preferred Qualifications
1. Associate's degree in quality technology, manufacturing, or related field
2. Certification from ASQ (CQI) or similar quality organization
3. Experience with ISO 13485 (medical devices) or IATF 16949 (automotive)
4. Background in specific manufacturing sectors: aerospace, automotive, or medical devices
5. Experience with advanced metrology equipment and automated inspection systems
6. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
7. Previous experience with supplier quality audits
8. Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
