This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with industry regulations across our operations.
Manager of Quality Assurance responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures across all product lines
2. Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts and specialists in testing methodologies
3. Establish quality metrics and KPIs to measure process effectiveness and product quality
4. Conduct regular audits and reviews of development processes and deliverables
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
6. Manage defect tracking systems and ensure timely resolution of identified issues
7. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
2. 7+ years of experience in quality assurance with 3+ years in a leadership role
3. Expertise in test planning, test case development, and defect management processes
4. Proven experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
5. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
6. Experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance requirements
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Quality Management or related field
2. ASQ Certified Quality Manager or similar professional certification
3. Experience in FDA-regulated environments or medical device industry
4. Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and Lean principles
5. Background in manufacturing or hardware quality assurance
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
7. Previous work in ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
