3. Conduct medication therapy management and review patient profiles for potential issues
4. Maintain controlled substance inventory and comply with DEA regulations
5. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens
6. Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with all pharmacy operations
7. Manage insurance claims processing and resolve prescription coverage issues
8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
9. Provide immunizations and health screenings in accordance with state law
10. Conduct medication reconciliation during care transitions
1. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from accredited institution
2. Active state pharmacist license in good standing
3. Minimum 2 years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience
4. Thorough knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics
5. Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., RxConnect, Enterprise)
6. Strong understanding of FDA regulations and state pharmacy laws
7. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
8. Current CPR certification
9. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
10. Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions
Preferred Qualifications
1. Board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS)
2. 3+ years of experience in retail chain pharmacy setting
3. Experience with medication therapy management programs
4. Immunization certification beyond basic requirements
5. Bilingual skills (Spanish/English)
6. Experience in pharmacy inventory management
7. Knowledge of 340B drug pricing program
8. Previous supervisory experience in pharmacy setting
