For performances, they conduct pre-show checks, coordinate with all departments, and ensure the show runs exactly as rehearsed. They also handle emergency protocols, understudy rehearsals, and serve as the primary point of contact for resolving any backstage issues. Additionally, Stage Managers document each performance and provide show reports to production leadership.

Facilitate communication between directors, designers, and production teams 6. Oversee cast and crew safety protocols and emergency procedures 7. Manage pre-show preparations and post-show reset requirements 8. Coordinate with front of house staff regarding show timing and audience management

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Theater, Stage Management, or equivalent professional experience 2. Minimum 3 years of professional stage management experience 3. Comprehensive knowledge of theater terminology and production processes 4. Proficiency with stage management software and Microsoft Office Suite 5. Strong crisis management and problem-solving abilities 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 7. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scripts 8. Physical ability to navigate backstage areas and lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

1. Equity Membership Candidate (EMC) status or Equity membership 2. Experience with both musical theater and straight play productions 3. Knowledge of union rules (Actors' Equity, IATSE) and regulations 4. Experience working with touring productions or large-scale venues 5. First Aid/CPR certification 6. Experience training and managing assistant stage managers 7. Familiarity with digital prompt book software and show control systems

1. Multilingual communication abilities (Spanish preferred) 2. Experience with automated rigging systems and fly operations 3. Knowledge of theatrical lighting and sound board operation 4.
