We are seeking a skilled Sound Engineer to join our production team, responsible for capturing, mixing, and enhancing audio quality across various projects including music recordings, live events, broadcast productions, and film/TV post-production. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise and creative sensibilities to deliver pristine audio experiences that meet industry standards.
Sound Engineer responsibilities include:
1. Operate and maintain professional audio equipment including mixing consoles, microphones, digital audio workstations (DAWs), and signal processors
2. Record, edit, and mix audio tracks for music production, podcasts, and broadcast content
3. Set up and manage sound systems for live events, concerts, and theater performances
4. Collaborate with producers, directors, and performers to achieve desired sonic outcomes
5. Troubleshoot audio technical issues during recording sessions and live events
6. Master final audio products to industry loudness standards and delivery specifications
7. Manage audio post-production for film and video projects including dialogue editing, Foley, and sound design
1. 3+ years of professional experience in audio engineering or sound production
2. Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live)
3. Comprehensive knowledge of analog and digital audio systems, signal flow, and acoustics
4. Experience with live sound reinforcement and front-of-house mixing
5. Strong ear for audio quality, balance, and spatial imaging
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
7. Valid driver's license and ability to transport equipment
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or related field
2. Experience with Dolby Atmos or other immersive audio formats
3. Background in music theory or performance
4. Familiarity with broadcast audio standards and compliance requirements
5. Previous work with major artists, venues, or production companies
6. Certification in Pro Tools or other industry-recognized credentials
7. Experience with wireless microphone systems and RF coordination
