Product Marketing Director responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement product marketing strategies and go-to-market plans for new and existing products
2. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and customer needs
3. Create compelling product messaging and positioning that differentiates our products in the market
4. Develop sales enablement materials including battle cards, case studies, and product presentations
5. Collaborate with product management to influence product roadmap based on market feedback
6. Measure and optimize marketing campaign performance using key metrics and ROI analysis
7. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
2. 8+ years of product marketing experience in B2B or technology sectors
3. Proven track record of developing successful product marketing strategies
4. Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and competitive analysis
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling messaging
6. Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot)
7. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications
1. MBA or advanced degree in Marketing or Business Administration
2. Experience in SaaS or technology product marketing
3. Background working with enterprise sales teams and complex sales cycles
4. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and performance metrics
