Warehouse Associate responsibilities include:
1. Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders
2. Label, scan, and place items in proper storage locations using RF scanners
3. Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and shipping requirements
4. Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers (certification required)
5. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and proper stock rotation (FIFO)
6. Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS)
7. Maintain clean and organized work area following 5S principles
8. Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations for warehouse operations
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent
2. Minimum 6 months warehouse or logistics experience
3. Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for entire shift
4. Basic math skills for counting and inventory management
5. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
6. Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed
7. Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
1. 2+ years experience in distribution center or warehouse environment
2. Forklift certification (reach truck, order picker, pallet jack)
3. Experience with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan)
4. Inventory control and cycle counting experience
