Stock Controller responsibilities include:

1. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) 2. Conduct regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventory audits 3. Coordinate receiving processes, verify shipments against purchase orders, and inspect for damages 4. Implement and maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) inventory systems 5. Generate daily inventory reports, analyze stock trends, and identify discrepancies 6. Collaborate with procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts 7. Manage returns, damaged goods, and obsolete inventory according to company procedures 8. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain safe warehouse environment 9. Supervise inventory staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams including logistics and sales

Must-Have Requirements

1. 3+ years of inventory control or warehouse management experience 2. Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP software 3. Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail 4. Experience conducting physical inventory counts and reconciliations 5. Knowledge of inventory management principles (FIFO, LIFO, JIT) 6. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate pallet jacks/material handling equipment 7. High school diploma or GED equivalent 8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field 2. Certification in inventory management (CPIM, CPSM, or similar) 3. Experience with barcode scanning systems and RFID technology 4. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience 5. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols 6. Experience in retail, distribution, or manufacturing environments 7. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
