6. Implement inventory control procedures and train warehouse staff on best practices
7. Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory, developing action plans for disposition
8. Manage inventory budgets and report on key performance indicators to senior leadership
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
2. 5+ years of inventory management experience in distribution or manufacturing environments
3. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
4. Demonstrated experience implementing inventory optimization strategies
5. Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory forecasting and data analysis
6. Knowledge of inventory accounting principles and cost management techniques
7. Experience leading physical inventory counts and cycle counting programs
8. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
