The ideal candidate will manage case files, conduct legal research, and assist in trial preparation while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.

Litigation Paralegal responsibilities include:

1. Manage all aspects of case administration and document management for active litigation matters 2. Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas in compliance with court rules 3. Conduct factual and legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and PACER systems 4. Coordinate e-discovery processes including document collection, review, and production using Relativity or similar platforms 5. Prepare deposition summaries, witness files, and trial exhibit binders 6. Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and manage court filing deadlines 7. Assist attorneys with trial preparation including jury selection analysis and trial notebook organization 8. Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel 9. Manage document review and production in response to discovery requests 10. Prepare deposition notices and coordinate deposition logistics

Must-Have Requirements

1. Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certificate from ABA-approved program 2. Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in US law firm environment 3. Proficiency with federal and state court rules and e-filing systems (CM/ECF, PACER) 4. Advanced knowledge of litigation documentation and civil procedure 5. Experience with e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Concordance, or similar) 6. Strong legal research skills using Westlaw and LexisNexis 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 8. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously 9. Thorough understanding of litigation process from complaint through trial 10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or related field 2. 5+ years of experience in complex litigation matters 3. Experience with trial preparation and courtroom support 4. Knowledge of specific practice areas (product liability, commercial litigation, or employment law) 5. Notary Public certification 6. Experience with case management software (Clio, MyCase, or similar) 7. Background in managing large-scale document review projects 8. Experience coordinating with expert witnesses and preparing expert reports 9. Knowledge of litigation hold processes and document retention policies 10. Previous experience in AmLaw 100 or 200 law firm environment

1. Certification as Certified Paralegal (CP) or Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) 2. Experience with trial technology software (TrialDirector, Sanction) 3. Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred) 4.
