2. Conduct thorough case investigations, interview witnesses, and gather evidence
3. Develop defense strategies and prepare legal motions
4. Negotiate plea agreements with prosecutors when appropriate
5. Provide legal counsel to clients regarding their rights and options
6. Examine and cross-examine witnesses in court
7. Stay current with changes in criminal law and court decisions
8. Manage case files, documentation, and billing records
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
2. Active membership in good standing with state bar association
3. Minimum 3 years of criminal defense experience
4. Courtroom experience including jury trials

6. Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills
7. Ability to manage heavy caseload and meet deadlines
