The Asset Manager will oversee and optimize the performance of our investment portfolio, primarily consisting of commercial real estate assets across major US markets. This role requires strategic decision-making to maximize returns while managing risk through comprehensive financial analysis, market research, and proactive asset management strategies.
Asset Manager responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement asset-level business plans and investment strategies
2. Conduct regular financial performance analysis and valuation modeling
3. Monitor market trends in commercial real estate across US regions
4. Oversee property management teams and third-party vendors
5. Prepare detailed investment reports and performance metrics
6. Manage lease negotiations and tenant relationships
7. Coordinate with acquisition and disposition teams on portfolio optimization
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and investment guidelines
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
2. 5+ years of asset management experience in US commercial real estate
3. Proven track record of managing $100M+ portfolio
4. Expertise in financial modeling and investment analysis
5. Strong understanding of US real estate markets and valuation methods
6. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
7. Proficiency in Argus Enterprise and advanced Excel modeling
Preferred Qualifications
1. MBA or Master's in Real Estate/Finance
2. CFA, CAIA, or CCIM designation
3. Experience with multiple asset classes (office, retail, industrial, multifamily)
4. Background in institutional investment management
5. Network of industry contacts across major US markets
6. Experience with portfolio management software systems
7. Knowledge of ESG investing principles and sustainable practices
