3. Operate and monitor X-ray machines to identify prohibited items and potential threats in carry-on and checked baggage
4. Verify travel documents, including boarding passes and government-issued identification
5. Execute standard operating procedures for security breaches and emergency situations
6. Maintain continuous surveillance of checkpoint areas and report suspicious activities
7. Provide clear direction and assistance to passengers throughout the screening process

1. U.S. citizenship or U.S. national status
2. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
3. Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening
4. Physical fitness to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions
5. Eligibility to obtain Secret-level security clearance
6. Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
