Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses 3. Implement and maintain security controls including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection 4. Investigate security incidents and provide detailed incident response reports with root cause analysis 5. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with NIST CSF or ISO 27001 frameworks 6. Perform security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for identified risks 7. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems and applications 8. Maintain documentation of security systems, incidents, and compliance activities

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field 2. 3+ years of experience in information security or related IT security role 3. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewall management, and network security principles 4. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection 5. Understanding of common cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) 6. Knowledge of regulatory requirements including GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS 7. Professional certification such as Security+, GSEC, or equivalent entry-level security certification 8. Experience with incident response procedures and digital forensics basics

Preferred Qualifications

1. CISSP, CISM, or other advanced security certifications 2. Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security 3. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation 4. Experience with threat intelligence platforms and threat hunting methodologies 5. Background in security architecture or security engineering 6. Familiarity with DevOps security practices and DevSecOps principles 7. Experience with identity and access management solutions (IAM) 8. Previous work in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, or government)

Bonus Skills

1. OSCP, GIAC, or other offensive security certifications 2. Experience with digital forensics and malware analysis tools 3. Knowledge of zero trust architecture implementation 4. Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms 5. Background in application security and secure coding practices 6.
