Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous UX Researcher to join our dynamic team. This role involves conducting comprehensive user research to inform product design decisions and enhance user experiences across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will employ both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover user insights that drive innovation and improve customer satisfaction.
UX Researcher responsibilities include:
1. Plan and execute end-to-end user research studies including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies
2. Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and present to cross-functional teams
3. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify research questions
4. Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts
5. Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization
6. Utilize tools such as UserTesting.com, Qualtrics, or similar platforms for remote research
1. Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field
2. 3+ years of professional UX research experience in digital product development
3. Proficiency with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
4. Strong portfolio demonstrating research process and impact on product decisions
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
6. Experience with research tools such as UserTesting, Lookback, or Validately
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, or related discipline
2. Experience working in agile development environments
3. Background in both B2B and B2C digital products
4. Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools
5. Experience with accessibility research and inclusive design practices
6. Previous work in tech companies or fast-paced startup environments
