As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks and strategies to ensure the highest quality of software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, create robust test automation solutions, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes. This role requires deep technical expertise in test automation, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
1. Design and develop scalable automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies
2. Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing
3. Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing and reporting
4. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
5. Develop and maintain test automation standards, best practices, and documentation
6. Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation strategies
7. Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define test strategies
8. Perform code reviews for test automation scripts and ensure quality standards
9. Monitor test automation metrics and provide regular reports on test coverage and quality
10. Research and evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2. 5+ years of experience in software test automation development
3. Expert knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or C#)
4. Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright)
5. Proficiency in API testing tools (RestAssured, Postman, or similar)
6. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
7. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
8. Experience with version control systems (Git)
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
10. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
2. Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
3. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
4. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
5. Mobile application testing experience
