1. Design and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies for complex distributed systems.
2. Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
3. Develop and maintain automated performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
4. Collaborate with development teams to establish performance benchmarks and acceptance criteria.
5. Conduct root cause analysis of production performance issues and implement corrective measures.
6. Monitor application performance using APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
7. Create detailed performance reports with actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
8. Implement performance monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection.
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years performance engineering experience.
2. Expertise in performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner) and APM solutions.
3. Strong proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and identifying system bottlenecks.
4. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies.
5. Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or C#).
6. Deep understanding of networking protocols, database performance, and system architecture.
