Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Analyst to ensure our products and services meet established quality standards and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting thorough testing, and identifying areas for improvement to maintain our commitment to excellence in the US market.
Quality Analyst responsibilities include:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications and systems
2. Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across multiple platforms
3. Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking systems
4. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes
5. Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective actions
6. Create and maintain quality documentation including test strategies, reports, and metrics
7. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
8. Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate backend services
9. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for web applications
10. Monitor production systems for quality issues and performance metrics
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2. 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles
3. Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques
4. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Quality Center
5. Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
6. Experience with SQL for database validation and data integrity testing
7. Knowledge of API testing principles and tools
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
9. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
10. US work authorization and ability to work in Eastern Time Zone
Preferred Qualifications
1. ISTQB or similar quality assurance certification
2. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
3. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
4. Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
5. Background in testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
7. Knowledge of security testing principles and methodologies
8. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Azure DevOps
9. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) for web applications
10. Previous experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, or government)

3. Performance testing and optimization experience
4. Security testing certifications (CEH, OSCP, or similar)
