Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our technology infrastructure and lead our IT team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align technology initiatives with business objectives, ensure system reliability, and implement innovative solutions to drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term technology planning.
IT Manager responsibilities include:
1. Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff
2. Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals
3. Oversee network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, servers, storage systems, and cloud services
4. Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
5. Manage IT budget, vendor relationships, and technology procurement
6. Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
7. Lead technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget
8. Provide technical guidance and support for enterprise applications and systems
9. Monitor system performance and implement improvements for optimal efficiency
10. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2. 7+ years of progressive IT experience with 3+ years in a management role
3. Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
4. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
5. Experience with IT budgeting, vendor management, and resource allocation
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
7. Proficiency in IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
8. Experience with enterprise systems and applications management
9. Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Information Systems or Business Administration
2. Industry certifications (CISSP, PMP, ITIL Expert, AWS/Azure certifications)
3. Experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives
4. Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools
5. Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions
6. Background in managing IT operations for mid to large-sized organizations
7. Experience with IT governance and risk management frameworks
8. Proven track record of successful technology implementation and optimization
9. Experience with data center management and migration projects
10. Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, or blockchain

1. Experience with IT compliance in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government)
2. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
3. Background in software development or application development management
