The ideal candidate will be responsible for building responsive, high-performance web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences across desktop and mobile platforms. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Frontend Engineer responsibilities include:
1. Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js/Vue.js/Angular
2. Implement pixel-perfect UI designs with HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks
3. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across browsers
4. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
5. Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
7. Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and ensure cross-browser compatibility
8. Utilize state management solutions (Redux, Vuex) for complex application state
9. Work with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn for efficient development workflows
1. 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
2. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
3. Strong experience with at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
4. Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
5. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
6. Version control proficiency with Git and GitHub/GitLab
7. Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) and CSS-in-JS solutions
8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with TypeScript in production environments
2. Knowledge of server-side rendering (Next.js/Nuxt.js)
3. Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library)
4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
5. Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
6. Previous work in agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban)
7. Portfolio of deployed web applications with demonstrated user growth metrics
