1. Implement and maintain security protocols and measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data
2. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential risks
3. Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and investigate security breaches
4. Install and configure security software, including firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems
5. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
6. Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions
7. Perform regular security audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
8. Educate employees on security best practices and conduct security awareness training
9. Manage access control systems and ensure proper authentication mechanisms are in place
10. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
3. Proficiency in security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
4. Hands-on experience with security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus solutions
5. Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network security architecture
6. Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit)
7. Familiarity with incident response and digital forensics procedures
8. Understanding of encryption technologies and secure communication protocols
9. Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and reports
10. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH
