Job Overview
As an Application Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between our products and clients, providing expert technical support, developing customized solutions, and ensuring optimal implementation of our technologies. You will work closely with both sales teams and engineering departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive product adoption.
Application Engineer responsibilities include:
1. Provide technical expertise and support during pre-sales and post-sales processes
2. Develop and demonstrate proof-of-concept solutions for client-specific requirements
3. Configure and customize software/hardware solutions to meet customer needs
4. Conduct product training and technical presentations for clients and internal teams
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues reported by customers
6. Collaborate with R&D teams to communicate customer feedback and feature requests
7. Create technical documentation, application notes, and best practice guides
8. Participate in industry events and technical conferences to showcase solutions
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
2. 3+ years of experience in application engineering or technical support role
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical audiences
5. Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or similar)
6. Experience with software development methodologies and tools
7. Ability to understand and translate customer requirements into technical solutions
8. Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and site visits
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
2. Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
3. Knowledge of API integration and web services development
4. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices
5. Previous experience in customer-facing technical roles
