AI Auditor responsibilities include:

1. Conduct comprehensive audits of AI systems for bias, fairness, transparency, and compliance with regulations including FTC guidelines and emerging AI legislation 2. Develop and implement AI audit frameworks and testing methodologies aligned with NIST AI Risk Management Framework 3. Perform technical assessments of machine learning models, algorithms, and data pipelines for ethical compliance 4. Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies 5. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies 6. Monitor AI systems in production for drift, performance degradation, and compliance violations 7. Stay current with evolving AI regulations, standards, and best practices in the US regulatory landscape

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field 2. 3+ years of experience in AI/ML model development, testing, or auditing 3. Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and evaluation metrics 4. Experience with Python programming and data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) 5. Knowledge of US regulatory frameworks affecting AI systems (FTC Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, ADA) 6. Proven ability to document and communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 7. Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing for bias detection

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field 2. Knowledge of emerging AI standards and frameworks (NIST AI RMF, IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) 6. Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI) 7. Previous experience presenting findings to regulatory bodies or executive leadership
