VP of HR responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business goals
2. Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top-tier professionals
3. Design and oversee performance management systems and succession planning
4. Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness
5. Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster inclusive workplace culture
6. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA)
7. Oversee HR analytics and reporting to inform strategic decision-making
8. Manage HR budget and resource allocation across departments
9. Lead organizational development and change management initiatives
10. Handle complex employee relations issues and investigations
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2. 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
3. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
4. Extensive knowledge of US employment laws and regulations
5. Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution
6. Demonstrated success in talent management and organizational development
7. Strong leadership and team management capabilities
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in HR Management or MBA
2. 15+ years of HR experience with 5+ years at VP level
3. Experience in multiple industry sectors
4. Background in mergers and acquisitions integration
