The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment for sales positions, from entry-level representatives to senior sales executives, with a deep understanding of sales competencies, compensation structures, and performance metrics specific to the American sales landscape.
Sales Recruiter responsibilities include:
1. Manage end-to-end recruitment process for sales roles including SDRs, Account Executives, and Sales Managers
2. Source candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and industry-specific networks
3. Conduct competency-based interviews assessing sales skills, closing techniques, and pipeline management abilities
4. Collaborate with sales leadership to define ideal candidate profiles and hiring criteria
5. Track and report on recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and source effectiveness
6. Build and maintain a pipeline of passive sales talent for future hiring needs
7. Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
8. Stay updated on sales compensation trends and market rates across different US regions
1. 3+ years of experience recruiting for sales positions in the US market
2. Proven track record of hiring successful sales professionals with verifiable performance metrics
3. Expertise in assessing sales competencies including prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
4. Familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach.io)
5. Strong knowledge of sales compensation structures (base + commission, OTE calculations)
6. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with sales stakeholders
7. Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, or similar)
8. Understanding of sales performance metrics and quota attainment measurements
