Human Resources (HR) Manager responsibilities include:
1. Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent
2. Manage full employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, development, and offboarding
3. Implement performance management systems and provide coaching to managers
4. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations (EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA)
5. Administer compensation and benefits programs, including annual reviews and market analysis
6. Handle employee relations issues and conduct workplace investigations
7. Develop and deliver training programs on HR policies, diversity, and leadership development
8. Maintain HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR) and generate analytics reports
9. Partner with leadership on organizational design and change management initiatives
10. Oversee workplace safety programs and OSHA compliance requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2. 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in management role
3. PHR or SHRM-CP certification
4. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws
5. Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics
6. Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and employee retention strategies
7. Strong conflict resolution and employee relations expertise
8. Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Budget management and strategic planning experience
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in HR Management or MBA
2. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
3. Experience in multi-state operations and compliance
4. Background in organizational development and change management
5. Experience with union avoidance and labor relations
6. Previous work in companies with 500+ employees
7. Experience with mergers and acquisitions integration
8. Background in developing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
9. Proficiency with advanced HR analytics and reporting tools
10. Experience in specific industry sectors (healthcare, manufacturing, or technology)
