Job Overview

The HR Officer will serve as a key member of our human resources team, responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support across all employee lifecycle functions. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage day-to-day HR operations while ensuring compliance with US employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will contribute to fostering a positive work environment and supporting organizational growth through effective HR practices.

HR Officer responsibilities include:

1. Manage full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for US-based positions 2. Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, 401(k), PTO) and serve as primary contact for benefits inquiries 3. Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality 4. Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now or similar US payroll systems 5. Conduct new employee orientation sessions and ensure completion of all required documentation including I-9 verification 6. Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on performance management issues 7. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO) 8. Support annual performance review process and compensation analysis 9. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with US labor laws 10. Generate HR metrics and reports for management review

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 2. 3+ years of progressive HR generalist experience in US workplace environments 3. Comprehensive knowledge of US employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII) 4. Proven experience with HRIS systems (ADP, Workday, or similar platforms) 5. Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes 6. Strong understanding of benefits administration and payroll processing 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 8. PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months) 9. Experience with I-9 compliance and E-Verify systems 10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA with HR concentration 2. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification 3. Experience in multi-state HR operations and compliance 4. Background in HR analytics and data-driven decision making 5. Experience with HR technology implementation and optimization 6. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety compliance 7. Experience in developing and delivering HR training programs 8. Background in compensation analysis and salary benchmarking 9. Experience with employee engagement survey administration 10. Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
