Job Overview
Strategic HR leadership role responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and organizational direction, with particular focus on talent management, organizational development, change management, and employee engagement in a dynamic US market environment.
HR Director responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy
2. Lead organizational development, succession planning, and talent management strategies
3. Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations
4. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
5. Manage the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with US employment laws (EEOC, ADA, FMLA, FLSA)
6. Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies
7. Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization
8. Manage HR budget and oversee HR operations and systems
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2. 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in executive HR leadership
3. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
4. Extensive knowledge of US employment legislation and regulations
5. Proven experience in strategic HR planning and organizational development
6. Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and management strategies
7. Strong leadership and team management capabilities
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA
2. Experience in multiple US states with varying employment laws
3. Background in change management and organizational transformation
4. Experience with HRIS implementation and optimization (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM)
5. Previous experience in scaling organizations through rapid growth phases
6. Background in mergers and acquisitions integration from HR perspective
7. Experience in developing compensation structures and benefits programs
8. Proven track record in improving employee engagement scores
