Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrator to support our human resources department in managing day-to-day operations. This role requires a professional who can handle HR administrative tasks with precision while maintaining strict confidentiality. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries and ensure smooth implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organization.

HR Administrator responsibilities include:

1. Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR) 2. Process new hire onboarding documentation including I-9 verification and E-Verify compliance 3. Administer employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations 4. Prepare HR documents including employment contracts, offer letters, and separation notices 5. Support payroll processing by providing accurate timekeeping and attendance data 6. Coordinate performance review cycles and maintain tracking systems 7. Assist with compliance reporting (EEO-1, OSHA, ACA) 8. Manage HR inbox and respond to employee inquiries within 24 hours 9. Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communication 10. Maintain organizational charts and employee directory updates

Must-Have Requirements

1. 2+ years of HR administration experience in U.S. workforce environment 2. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite 3. Thorough knowledge of federal employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII) 4. Experience with I-9 compliance and E-Verify procedures 5. High school diploma or equivalent required 6. Excellent organizational and time management skills 7. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information 8. Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field 2. PHR or SHRM-CP certification 3. Experience in multi-state payroll and compliance 4. Knowledge of benefits administration and COBRA requirements 5. Experience with ATS systems (Greenhouse, Lever, or Taleo) 6. Previous experience in companies with 500+ employees 7. Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting tools
