As a Diversity Recruiter, you will lead our organization's efforts to attract, engage, and hire diverse talent across all levels and functions. You will develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build pipelines of qualified candidates from underrepresented groups while partnering with hiring managers and leadership to advance our diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. This role requires deep understanding of diversity recruiting best practices, market trends, and compliance requirements specific to the US employment landscape.
Diversity Recruiter responsibilities include:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive diversity recruiting strategies targeting underrepresented groups including BIPOC, women, veterans, LGBTQ+, and individuals with disabilities
2. Partner with ERG (Employee Resource Group) leaders to understand community-specific recruitment needs and barriers
3. Utilize diversity-focused sourcing channels including HBCUs, HSIs, professional diversity organizations, and community partnerships
4. Conduct targeted outreach and build relationships with diverse professional networks and organizations
5. Analyze recruitment metrics to identify diversity gaps and implement data-driven solutions
6. Train hiring managers on unconscious bias, inclusive interviewing techniques, and equitable hiring practices
7. Ensure OFCCP compliance and maintain accurate diversity recruitment documentation
8. Develop employer branding content that highlights our commitment to DEI initiatives
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2. 3+ years of dedicated diversity recruiting experience in US market
3. Proven track record of successfully placing diverse candidates across multiple business functions
4. Deep knowledge of EEOC, OFCCP, and diversity compliance requirements
5. Expertise in diversity sourcing techniques and candidate engagement strategies
6. Experience with ATS systems (Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday) and diversity analytics
7. Strong understanding of unconscious bias and inclusive hiring practices
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in HR Management or Diversity Leadership
2. Professional certification in diversity recruiting (CDR, CDP, or similar)
3. Experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide diversity recruitment strategies
4. Background in both corporate and agency recruiting environments
5. Familiarity with diversity benchmarking and industry best practices
6. Experience working with ERGs and diversity councils
7. Knowledge of accessibility standards and accommodations process
8. Bilingual capabilities (Spanish, ASL, or other languages)
