Job Overview

The Director of Talent will lead our talent acquisition and development strategy, driving the full talent lifecycle from sourcing and recruitment to onboarding, retention, and succession planning. This role requires a strategic leader who can build strong relationships with hiring managers, develop innovative talent pipelines, and implement data-driven approaches to attract and retain top-tier candidates across all levels of the organization.

Director of Talent responsibilities include:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet organizational hiring needs 2. Lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team to achieve recruitment goals and metrics 3. Partner with senior leadership to understand business objectives and align talent strategies accordingly 4. Implement and optimize employer branding initiatives to enhance candidate attraction 5. Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation 6. Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and professional organizations 7. Analyze recruitment metrics and market trends to inform strategy and improve processes 8. Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations (EEO, ADA, etc.) 9. Design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process 10. Manage talent acquisition budget and vendor relationships

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 2. 8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role 3. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies 4. Extensive experience with full-cycle recruitment for various levels including executive positions 5. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.) 6. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms 7. Demonstrated ability to analyze recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions 8. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills 9. Experience building and managing high-performing recruitment teams 10. Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or MBA 2. Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) 3. Experience in multiple industries or Fortune 500 companies 4. Background in both corporate and agency recruitment environments 5. Experience with international recruitment and global talent mobility 6. Knowledge of emerging recruitment technologies and AI tools 7. Experience in employer branding and social media recruitment strategies 8. Background in talent management, succession planning, or organizational development 9. Experience with diversity recruitment initiatives and partnerships 10. Proven ability to scale recruitment operations during rapid organizational growth

1. Certification in behavioral interviewing techniques (Targeted Selection, etc.) 2. Experience with workforce planning and talent analytics 3.
