4. Manage wine inventory, including purchasing, storage, and rotation
5. Provide exceptional tableside wine service including proper presentation, opening, and pouring techniques
6. Build and maintain relationships with wine distributors and producers
7. Monitor wine trends and market conditions to optimize selection
8. Train serving staff on wine knowledge and service standards
9. Organize and host wine dinners and special events
10. Ensure proper wine storage conditions and glassware maintenance
1. Certified Sommelier credential (Court of Master Sommeliers or equivalent)
2. Minimum 3 years experience in fine dining wine service
3. Extensive knowledge of domestic and international wine regions
4. Proven ability to build and manage wine inventory with P&L responsibility
5. Exceptional palate and blind tasting abilities
6. Comprehensive understanding of food and wine pairing principles
7. Valid alcohol service certification
8. Professional appearance and impeccable hospitality standards
9. Strong sales and customer service skills
10. Physical ability to lift and carry cases of wine (40+ lbs)
Preferred Qualifications
