Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen budgeting while minimizing waste 4. Train, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff of 15+ team members 5. Maintain strict compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards 6. Source high-quality ingredients from local purveyors and build vendor relationships 7. Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service operations 8. Implement and maintain kitchen sanitation and organization systems 9. Create special menus for private events and catering operations 10. Continuously innovate and update menu offerings based on market trends

Must-Have Requirements

1. 8+ years of professional kitchen experience with 3+ years as Head Chef or Executive Chef 2. Proven track record of menu development and culinary innovation 3. Extensive knowledge of American cuisine techniques and contemporary cooking methods 4. Valid Food Handler's Certification and knowledge of local health codes 5. Strong leadership and team management abilities 6. Experience with kitchen financial management and cost control 7. Ability to work under pressure in high-volume environments 8.
