3. Manage event budgets ranging from $50K to $500K+, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI
4. Lead cross-functional teams and supervise event staff of 10-50+ personnel
5. Negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and vendors to secure favorable terms
6. Implement event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement
7. Oversee on-site execution and troubleshoot any issues in real-time
8. Conduct post-event analysis and report on key metrics including attendance, satisfaction, and financial performance
1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration or related field
2. 5+ years of professional event management experience with proven track record
3. Demonstrated experience managing events with 500+ attendees and $100K+ budgets
4. Proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite, Bizzabo)
5. Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills with established industry connections
6. Strong budget management and financial accountability experience
7. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
8. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
Preferred Qualifications
1. Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) certification
2. Experience in corporate events, conferences, or trade shows with 1000+ attendees
3. Background in hospitality management or hotel operations

5. Existing relationships with major venues and vendors in the event industry
6. Multilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)
