This role requires a board-certified physician with extensive clinical experience, exceptional diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care in accordance with the latest American neurological standards and practices.
Neurologist responsibilities include:
1. Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and assessments. 2. Diagnose and treat conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and neuropathies. 3. Interpret EEG, EMG, MRI, and CT scans to aid in diagnosis. 4. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions. 5. Perform lumbar punctures, nerve conduction studies, and other diagnostic procedures. 6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurosurgeons, physiatrists, and primary care physicians. 7. Provide urgent and emergency neurological care, including stroke alerts and inpatient consultations. 8. Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations. 9. Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. 10. Participate in clinical research trials and contribute to academic publications if applicable.
1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. 2. Board certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). 3. Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of employment. 4.
