Job Overview

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our prestigious medical practice in the United States. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with digestive system disorders, perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Gastroenterology responsibilities include:

1. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, ERCP, and capsule endoscopies 2. Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system including IBD, celiac disease, liver diseases, and functional GI disorders 3. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions 4. Interpret diagnostic tests including imaging studies, laboratory results, and pathology reports 5. Maintain accurate electronic medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations 6. Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and primary care physicians 7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices 8. Provide on-call coverage for gastrointestinal emergencies according to practice schedule

Must-Have Requirements

1. Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from accredited institution 2. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology 3. Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment 4. Completion of ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship 5. DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances 6. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology practice 7. Proficiency in standard endoscopic procedures and techniques 8. Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
