The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of exercise science, nutrition, and motivational techniques to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals in our state-of-the-art facility.
Fitness Trainer responsibilities include:
1. Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and body composition analysis
2. Develop customized workout plans aligned with client objectives (weight loss, strength building, athletic performance)
3. Provide one-on-one and small group training sessions with proper form instruction
4. Monitor client progress and adjust programs accordingly using fitness tracking software
5. Educate clients on proper nutrition, recovery techniques, and lifestyle modifications
6. Maintain training equipment and ensure facility safety standards
7. Achieve client retention rate of 85% or higher through exceptional service delivery
1. NASM, ACE, or ACSM personal training certification
2. Minimum 2 years experience in personal training with verifiable client results
3. CPR/AED certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
4. Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and exercise physiology
5. Ability to demonstrate and correct exercise techniques properly
6. Excellent interpersonal and motivational coaching skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
2. Specialized certifications (corrective exercise, nutrition, senior fitness, or sports performance)
3. Experience with diverse client populations (seniors, athletes, rehabilitation clients)
4. Background in group fitness instruction (HIIT, yoga, or cycling certification)
5. Knowledge of fitness technology and wearable integration
6. Previous experience in commercial gym or health club environment
