Family Nurse Practitioner responsibilities include:
1. Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations for patients of all ages
2. Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including medication prescriptions
4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory work and imaging studies
5. Provide patient education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options
6. Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
8. Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, and biopsies
