Exercise Physiologist responsibilities include:

2. Develop evidence-based exercise prescriptions for patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, and musculoskeletal conditions
3. Monitor and interpret vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation) during exercise sessions
4. Implement graded exercise testing for cardiac rehabilitation patients following ACSM guidelines
5. Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications
6. Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary care teams
7. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and document patient progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations
8. Utilize metabolic carts, electromyography (EMG), and other clinical equipment for assessment and monitoring

1. Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field from an accredited institution

4. Proficiency in conducting and interpreting cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET)
