Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Counseling Psychologist to provide evidence-based therapeutic services to diverse client populations. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual/group therapy while adhering to ethical standards and maintaining detailed clinical documentation. The ideal candidate will contribute to our multidisciplinary team in improving mental health outcomes for clients across various settings.

Counseling Psychology responsibilities include:

1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations using standardized tools (e.g., MMPI-2, WAIS, projective tests) 2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with DSM-5-TR criteria 3. Provide evidence-based individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions 4. Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations 5. Implement crisis intervention protocols and suicide risk assessments 6. Utilize teletherapy platforms for remote counseling services 7. Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers 8. Administer and interpret psychological testing batteries 9. Conduct biofeedback and stress management interventions 10. Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings

Must-Have Requirements

1. Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Counseling Psychology from APA-accredited program 2. Current state licensure as a Psychologist (or license-eligible within 6 months) 3. Minimum 2 years supervised post-doctoral experience in clinical settings 4. Proficiency in CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed interventions 5. Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) 6. Demonstrated competency in multicultural counseling approaches 7. Strong crisis management and risk assessment skills 8. Malpractice insurance coverage 9. Completion of mandated reporter training 10.
