Chief Medical Officer responsibilities include:

3. Ensure compliance with CMS regulations, Joint Commission standards, and state medical board requirements
4. Lead clinical risk management and patient safety programs
5. Collaborate with executive team on value-based care initiatives and population health management
6. Direct medical staff development and continuing education programs
7. Serve as liaison between administration and medical staff
8. Implement evidence-based clinical protocols and treatment guidelines
1. MD or DO degree from accredited medical school
2. Board certification in relevant medical specialty
3. Active, unrestricted medical license in the United States
4. Minimum 10 years of clinical practice experience
5. 5+ years in healthcare leadership/administrative roles
6. Proven experience with healthcare quality metrics and performance improvement
7. Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
8. DEA certification and malpractice insurance coverage
