Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our healthcare team, providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services to patients across diverse age groups. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, fitting hearing aids, and developing personalized treatment plans to improve patients' quality of life through better hearing. The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with compassionate patient care in accordance with American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) standards and state licensing requirements.

Audiologist responsibilities include:

1. Conduct comprehensive audiometric evaluations including pure-tone audiometry, speech testing, and immittance testing 2. Perform hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming, and follow-up adjustments using real-ear measurement technology 3. Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing conservation 4. Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations 5. Collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals 6. Conduct industrial hearing conservation programs and community hearing screenings 7. Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and evidence-based practices

Must-Have Requirements

1. Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited university program 2. Current state licensure in audiology and hearing aid dispensing certification 3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA 4. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic audiology and hearing aid fittings 5. Proficiency with audiometric equipment and hearing aid programming software 6. Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing procedures 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse patient populations

Preferred Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience in both clinical and dispensing environments 2. Experience with pediatric audiology and vestibular testing 3. Familiarity with multiple hearing aid manufacturers' technology and software 4. Previous work in ENT practice or hospital setting 5. Knowledge of OSHA regulations for hearing conservation programs 6. Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) 7. Experience with telehealth services and remote programming
