Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to implement Applied Behavior Analysis therapy programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This role involves working directly with clients to develop essential life skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and promote positive behavior changes through evidence-based interventions in various settings including homes, schools, and clinical environments.

ABA Therapist responsibilities include:

1. Implement individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) 2. Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions using standardized measurement tools 3. Utilize discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), and other ABA methodologies 4. Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIP) 5. Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients following prescribed protocols 6. Collaborate with BCBA supervisors to modify treatment plans based on client progress 7. Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports in compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements 8. Train and support family members in implementing behavior management strategies 9. Participate in regular team meetings and clinical supervision sessions 10. Ensure client safety and maintain professional boundaries at all times

Must-Have Requirements

1. High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 1 year of experience in ABA therapy 2. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board 3. Complete understanding of ABA principles and methodologies 4. Ability to implement behavior plans and collect accurate data 5. Physical ability to work with children including kneeling, sitting on floor, and light lifting 6. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for client home visits 7. Clear background check and eligibility to work with vulnerable populations 8. CPR and First Aid certification 9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills 10. Availability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field 2. 2+ years of experience providing ABA therapy to children with autism 3. Experience with verbal behavior programming and early intervention 4. Knowledge of assessment tools such as ABLLS-R or VB-MAPP 5. Previous experience working in school settings or clinical environments 6. Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) 7. Experience with electronic data collection systems 8. Understanding of insurance documentation requirements for ABA services 9. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification 10. Experience with parent training and collaboration

1. Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field 2. Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification 3. Experience with functional communication training (FCT) and PECS 4. Proficiency in data analysis and graphing using software such as Excel or specialized ABA platforms 5.
